Technology and Innovation
Some people love technology. Technology is no longer an object of fascination and some people who were not able to follow a technological education have turned to the technology to offer solutions to their problems.

Some of the world's greatest geniuses of technology have been discovered in each one of us through the efforts of invention, entrepreneurship and innovation. The greatest minds, like Newton, Einstein, Browning, Benjamin Franklin, Edison, Steinmetz, Mies van der Rohe and others have all been inventors. Science has made some of our lives easier as technology helps us build high-tech cars, buildings, bridges, trains, airplanes, satellites and many other pieces of technology.
Most of the great minds that have created these technologies have been well paid for their inventions. If they had chosen a path that did not produce a large revenue for them, then we would never have heard of their names.
We owe a great deal to the knowledge that has helped us in this world. We owe a great deal to the inventions that have helped to turn out some of the products in our lives. These inventions have been a gift to mankind. For all that we do today, we owe it to the way we use the computer, the Internet, the cell phone and the laptop to make our lives much easier.
Many new technologies in technology are available now for all of us to see. Technologies such as the iPhone, Android phones, netbooks, e-book readers, Kindles, video gaming consoles, video and photo storage devices, digital cameras, HDTVs, DVD players, game consoles, DVDs, cell phones, smart phones, tablet PCs, social networking, wireless routers, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, broadband and more. Many of these technologies exist that you cannot even imagine today. One of the newest developments in technology is the use of RFID tags.
Technology is almost everywhere. Technology is very, very personal. Technology has shaped our world, and now it shapes our world in ever more powerful ways.
What will the future hold? A world with technology so fast that some people cannot keep up, can they manage? We must learn to adapt or we will become obsolete and our culture will crumble.
Can we handle it, if there are now entrepreneurs with no equipment and very little funding to launch their small entrepreneurial enterprises? Is it possible to support an education system to teach new generations of entrepreneurs? I know that our schools need support.
Now the biggest challenge to growth is the education system. Will our children be well taught, and is there anything we can do?
As more people move to the developing world, it seems that the world's resources are not enough to feed everyone. Will we give up what little we have and feed everyone? What about the women who are left behind? What are the options?
We have an important role to play in the future of our children and in the future of our world. Perhaps it is time for people who are passionate about technology to focus on solving problems with the help of technology and innovation.
